here is the deal
The concept for this project is one part Video project and one part Performance art. The idea is that my girlfriend and I will go to various buildings around campus, set up a full lighting kit, our cameraman will start rolling, and then we will start kissing (me and my girlfriend, not the camera guy) for about a minute. Then we will tear down the kit and move on. The camera/s wont be solely focused on us. In fact part of the project is to capture the responses of the other people in the area. Ideally there would be two cameras. I want to explore the concept of public space along with peoples reactions to both the spectacle and the camera.
This is to become a video Blog documenting this project. I plan on submitting rough edits of each location as we do them. though not all of them will make it into the final video.
